In this issue, Z. Lin et al. review the precision synthesis of block copolymers and applications of nanoparticles. How can linear and unimolecular star-shaped block copolymer templates be used to synthesize spherical nanoparticles with compact, hollow, and core–shell structures? In a Minireview, C. Barner-Kowollik et al. summarize work on wavelength-gated dynamic covalent chemistry. The Highlight deals with the development of antibody-directed therapies (T. Rodrigues, G. J. L. Bernardes).


In the Communications section, Y. Mao et al. show how to fold DNA into a lipid-conjugated nanobarrel for controlled reconstitution of membrane proteins (see picture). J. M. Goicoechea et al. describe an isolable phosphaethynolatoborane and its reactivity. B. Hu and L. Deng succeeded in the catalytic asymmetric synthesis of trifluoromethylated γ-amino acids through an umpolung addition.
