Angewandte Chemie 13/2018: Guidance

Author: Angewandte Chemie International Edition

In this issue, P. T. Lukey et al. review an αv‐RGD integrin inhibitor toolbox of small molecules and antibodies. How can it guide drug discovery? In a Minireview, M. F. Kuehnel and E. Reisner discuss solar hydrogen generation from lignocellulose.

In the Communications section, D. W. Stephan et al. describe the synthesis and reactivity of cyclic (alkyl)(amino)nitrenium cations, a group of nitrogen-based Lewis acids (see picture). Z. M. Heiden et al. used a fluorescent dye molecule as a proton and electron reservoir, and V. Huynh and R. G. Wylie investigated the competitive affinity release for long-term delivery of antibodies from hydrogels.
