Europe’s Most Talented Young Researchers

The European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) has announced the selection of 21 of Europe’s most talented young researchers as 2010 beneficiaries of the EMBO Young Investigator Program. The program received 137 applications this year, from which the recipients were selected by current EMBO Members.

The program identifies young researchers at a critical stage of their scientific careers and is highly sought after due to the program’s reputation for excellence. Winners receive a range of benefits, including financial, academic and practical support, designed to smooth the transition during the start up of their first independent research laboratories.
