Chinese Chemical Society

The 15th International Congress of Quantum Chemistry (ICQC) took place in Beijing from June 8–13, 2015, organized by the CCS and Tsinghua University under the auspice of the International Academy of Quantum Molecular Science (IAQMS). More than 1000 participants from 41 countries/areas met for ICIQ’s first time in China and nine satellite meetings before and after the main congress.

Korean Chemical Society

This year’s fall meeting of the KCS will be held on October 14–16, 2015, in Daegu. The plenary speaker will be Professor Sung-Hou Kim from the University of California Berkeley.

Chemical Research Society of India

The 18th CRSI National Symposium in Chemistry (NSC-18), organized by Panjab University, Chandigarh, and Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali, will be held on February 5–7, 2016. The symposium will consist of medal lectures, the Prof. C.N.R. Rao award lecture, the Prof. Animesh Chakravorty Endowment Lecture, the Mizushima-Raman Lecture, and keynote lectures by honorary fellows. A special symposium at NSC-18 and Local Chapter events will celebrate the 100th anniversary of electron pair theory of bonding by G. N. Lewis. More details on the CRSI website: www.crsi.org.in.

Chemical Society of Thailand

The Pure and Applied Chemistry International Conference 2016 (PACCON 2016) will be held on February 9–11, 2016, at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), and will be organized by the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University in conjunction with The Chemical Society of Thailand (CST). The plenary speakers will be Professors Akira Suzuki, Richard G. Compton, Nadrian C. Seeman, and Niyazi Serdar Sariciftci.

Chemical Society of Japan
The 96th CSJ Annual Meeting will be held on March 24–27, 2016, at Kyotanabe Campus of Doshisha University, in Kyoto Prefecture. Approximately 9,000 participants are anticipated to attend and speakers are encouraged to present all scientific content in English to foster a global perspective. As part of the meeting, The Chemical Record Lecture will be presented by David MacMillan, Princeton University, on March 25. The CSJ looks forward to your active participation in the 96th CSJ Annual Meeting.

Himpunan Kimia Indonesia

The next Indonesian Conference on Chemical Analysis and Instrumentation (ICCAI-2016) will be held on 13 April, 2016, at the Jakarta Convention Center. The keynote speakers will include Prof. Buchari (ITB), Akhmad Sabarudin, D.Sc. (University of Brawijaya), and Dr. Rahmat Wibowo (University of Indonesia).
