IUPAC will celebrate 100 years holding the 47th IUPAC World Chemistry Congress and the 50th General Assembly.
The 47th IUPAC World Chemistry Congress will take place on July 7–12, 2019, and will feature specific symposia for Chemical Education, Chemistry and Society, and History of Chemistry and IUPAC. The main congress themes are Chemistry for Life, Chemistry for Energy and Resources, and Chemistry for Environment.
The 50th General Assembly will take place place on July 5–11, 2019.
