In the Symposia Series keynote talks will be given by members of the newly installed Scientific Advisory Committee of the journal. The ten members are all leading researchers in their respective fields and are located at top institutes around the world.


The second symposium of this series will feature talks by

  • Helma Wennemers (ETH Zürich, Switzerland)
    Peptides as Asymmetric Catalyst
  • Walter Leitner (Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion in Mülheim & RWTH Aachen University, Germany)
    Fire and Ice: Catalytic Synthesis using Hydrogen and Carbon Dioxide
  • May Nyman (Oregon State University, USA)
    Differentiating Zr/Hf Chemistry through Metal-Oxo Clusters: Spotlight on an 80-yr Old Process


Each Symposium will be moderated by two of the Executive Editors of Angewandte Chemie and after each session there will be the opportunity to meet the speakers from the Scientific Advisory Committee and the Executive Editors.
