This symposium will cover drug discovery advances in all major therapeutic areas as well as the most recent advances in lead identification and optimization strategies, drug design and profiling technologies. Particular emphasis will be put on first time disclosures. ISMC 2012 will also illustrate the impact of the -omics and biomarker areas on the interfaces between chemistry, informatics, biology and experimental medicine.

It traditionally attracts experts in drug discovery and development, in particular medicinal and synthetic chemists, together with scientists active in the fields of computer assisted drug design, biology, DMPK, pharmacology, early toxicology, as well as chemical and pharmaceutical development.
