ORCHEM has developed into one of the most important organic chemistry conferences in Germany for academics, industrial chemists, and students alike. It takes place in Weimar for the third time in 2012.

ORCHEM is not a specialized conference, but rather encompasses the entire field of organic chemistry. It is a meeting point for renowned scientists from Germany and abroad. At the same time it is tailored to the interests of Ph.D. students. An important feature of the programme of ORCHEM is a poster session where young researchers can present their latest results.
