The MQM congresses are focused on theory and method development in molecular quantum mechanics. It is part of the tradition to dedicate the event to a major contributor in this area of science. The MQM 2013 will be to the honor of Professor Rodney (“Rod”) Bartlett of the Quantum Theory Project of the University of Florida. Rod Bartlett will be honored for his seminal contributions towards the treatment of electron correlation.

The MQM 2013 offers a great opportunity for graduate students, post-doctoral fellows and senior scientists from both, academia and industry, to share and exchange the results of their research and to establish contact to the leaders in the field.

Scientific contributions are invited from all fields of molecular quantum mechanics, electronic structure theory and computational chemistry. From the submissions received, the Organizing Committee will select papers to be presented as oral contributions.

Free Virtual Issue
The Journal International Journal of Quantum Chemistry, Journal of Computational Chemistry, ChemPhysChem, and WIREs Computational Molecular Sciences created a special virtual issue for the conference. The articles are freely available for a limited time.

More information on the special issue as well as an interview with Peter R. Schreiner, Editor of the Journal of Computational Chemistry and Editor-in-Chief of WIREs Computational Molecular Science can be found here.
