Eight established international conferences are running alongside the RACI National Centenary Convention under one roof. The cross disciplinary nature of chemistry will be emphasized and many of the symposia will explore exciting new areas of chemistry, discuss upcoming challenges to the industry, explore the boundaries of the traditional types of chemistry, and examine future trends in chemistry and the related sciences.

The congress is being held in collaboration with partner conferences, including 17ACC (the 17th Asian Chemical Congress), Carbon 2017 (World Carbon Conference), Chemeca 2017 (Australian and New Zealand Federation of Chemical Engineers Conference), AIMECS2017 (the Asian Federation of Medicinal Chemists’ Conference), ACCC6 (the Asian Conference on Coordination Chemistry including the 2017 ACES & GDCh Symposium: Functional Nanomaterials), GSC8 (8th International Conference on Green and Sustainable Chemistry), AHeDD 2017 (Asia Hub for e-Drug Discovery), and Elsevier's "18th Tetrahedron Symposium Asia Edition".

Congress will bring together 3000+ delegates, 2000+ abstracts, 1000+ posters and a comprehensive exhibition programme featuring 100 exhibitors
