In this issue, E. D. Levy et al. review infinite assembly of folded proteins in evolution, disease, and engineering. How does agglomeration lead to aberrant assemblies and disease, but also to novel biomaterials? I. V. Alabugin et al. discuss upconversion of reductants in a further Review. The Minireviews deal with photoredox catalysis as a means to incorporate CO2 into carboxylic acids (C. S. In the Communications section, N. Pradhan et al. describe a generic synthesis approach for CsPbX3 (X: Cl, Br, I; see picture) nanocrystals with near-unity photoluminescence quantum efficiency. J. Li et al. observed nanozyme-catalyzed cascade reactions for mitochondria-mimicking oxidative phosphorylations. H. Oshio et al. present an iron complex with Brønsted ligands as a molecular switch with five accessible states.
