Angewandte Chemie 28/2021: Frameworks

Author: Angewandte Chemie International Edition

In this issue, Z. Tao et al. review cucurbit[n]uril-based supramolecular frameworks assembled through outer-surface interactions, and S.-T. Han et al. discuss the role of metal–organic frameworks in electronic sensors. The Minireviews deal with Criegee intermediates beyond ozonolysis (S. Bräse et al.) and metal–organic and covalent organic framework membrane materials (A. Knebel et al.).

In the original research section, D. Baigl et al. describe the reversible supra-folding of user-programmed functional DNA nanostructures on fuzzy cationic substrates. L. Han et al. succeeded in the self-assembly of single-diamond surface networks. L. Xu et al. report the in-situ nano-crystallization of highly stable anodes for potassium-ion batteries (see picture). T. Fuoco presents a one-pot combination of two macromolecular concepts to encode diverse and spatially regulated degradability functions.
