In Su Lee studied chemistry at Seoul National University, gaining his Bachelor’s degree in 1995 and his Master’s degree in 1997. He finished his Ph.D. thesis at the same university on organometallic compounds with large hyperpolarizability and crystal engineering. From 2003 to 2005, he worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), USA. He was Assistant and Associate Professor between 2006 and 2011 at the Department of Applied Chemistry, Kyung Hee University, South Korea. Since 2011, he has been Associate professor at the Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), South Korea.
