ChemistryOpen is a multidisciplinary, gold-road open-access, international forum for the publication of outstanding Reviews, Minireviews, Full Papers and Communications from all areas of chemistry and related fields.
ChemistryOpen was the first fully open access (gold), society-owned chemistry journal, co-owned by 16 continental European Chemical Societies, who have banded together in the alliance called Chemistry Europe for the purpose of publishing high-quality journals in the field of chemistry and its border disciplines. Based in Europe, ChemistryOpen attracts authors and readers from around the world. All papers are peer-reviewed, and electronic processing ensures accurate reproduction of text and data, plus short publication times.
Publish for Free if you are a Researcher in Germany
Following the signing of the agreement between Projekt DEAL and Wiley, corresponding authors affiliated with German institutions most likely qualify for open access publishing without any charges owing to direct invoicing and payment under Projekt DEAL. To publish without having to pay Article Publication Charges (APCs), the article's corresponding author must be from an eligible institution and the article must have been accepted on or after 22 January 2019 and be a primary research article or review article.
Benefitting from all of the advantages of open access publishing, you can make your articles freely available for all to read, download, and share. By sending your next manuscript to ChemistryOpen, you can benefit from Projekt DEAL with immediate effect!

@impact factor
ChemistryOpen is a relatively young journal and was just recently accepted for indexing and abstracting in Thomson Reuters Web of Knowledge. ChemistryOpen will be receiving a first partial Impact Factor with the release of the Journal Citation Reports 2013 in the early summer of this year. An estimated value can already be calculated using their data, and it currently stands at around 3. Of course this value can still change, and we’ll have to wait a couple of months for the official IF.
