Abstract A novel composite microsphere of 2,4,6,8,10,12‐hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane (CL‐20) and 2,6‐diamino‐3,5‐dinitropyrazine‐1‐oxide (LLM‐105) were fabricated by spray drying technology. Abstract A palladium(II)‐catalyzed cascade approach was established for the synthesis of indeno[1,2‐c]isochromen‐5(11H)‐ones starting from 2‐alkynyl tert‐butyl benzoates bearing a pendant α,β‐unsaturated carbonyl moiety in high yields (up to 99%) under mild conditions. Abstract Bis(phosphinite) pincer platinum hydride complexes, [2,6‐(R2PO)2C6H3]PtH (R=tBu, iPr), were synthesized, characterized and applied to the hydrosilylation of aldehydes and ketones. NMR study and single crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis indicated that the hydrides in these two platinum complexes are comparatively less hydridic: down‐field 1H NMR resonances (0.71 and 0.98 ppm) and weak Pt−H interactions were observed. An Efficient Approach to Functionalized Indoles from λ3‐Iodanes via Acyloxylation and Acyl Transfer

Abstract Versatile role of λ3‐iodanes has been identified between the reaction of hydroquinone and β‐enaminones for the synthesis of 5‐acyloxy‐4‐hydroxy indoles. The reaction is proposed to proceed through an intermolecular C−C bond formation, intramolecular cyclization, acyloxylation and 1,4‐acyl migration. The important features of this work include various acyloxylation from λ3‐iodanes and broad functional group tolerance to deliver 34 examples in moderate to good yields.

Abstract We demonstrate that using palladium acetate as a catalyst for reduction of DMF and isatin derivatives by hydrosilanes, a cascade hydrosilylation and amino‐methylation reaction can be realized. Abstract A pyridyl group‐assisted palladium‐catalyzed secondary C(sp3)−H arylation protocol was developed.
