Abstract We have quantum chemically analyzed element−element bonds of archetypal HnX−YHn molecules (X, Y=C, N, O, F, Si, P, S, Cl, Br, I), using density functional theory. One purpose is to obtain a set of consistent homolytic bond dissociation energies (BDE) for establishing accurate trends across the periodic table. Abstract Effects of fluid dynamics on cells are often studied by growing the cells on the base of cylindrical wells or dishes that are swirled on the horizontal platform of an orbital shaker. Abstract A series of three‐dimensionally ordered macroporous (3DOM) Ce0.8M0.1Zr0.1O2(M=Cr, Sn, Fe, Co, Ni, Mn, Cu) catalysts are synthesized and used in CO selective catalytic reduction of NOx. The results show that the NO conversion rate of 3DOM Ce0.8Cu0.1Zr0.1O2 catalyst at a lower temperature (150 °C) is close to 60 %.
