Abstract Development of new, environmentally benign dissolution methods for metallic gold is driven by needs in the circular economy. Iron‐Catalyzed Three‐Component Cyanoalkylsulfonylation of 2,3‐Allenoic Acids, Sulfur Dioxide, and Cycloketone Oxime Esters: Access to Cyanoalkylsulfonylated Butenolides

Abstract An iron‐catalyzed three‐component cyanoalkylsulfonylation of 2,3‐allenoic acids, K2S2O5, and the ring‐opening of cyclobutanone oxime esters is described. The radical tandem cyclization route allows access to diverse cyanoalkylsulfonylated butenolides in moderate to good yields under mild conditions. Moreover, the products are further converted, offering the corresponding derivatives.

Abstract N‐Activated ketimines are characterized by the presence of acyl, sulfonyl, and phosphinoyl groups linked to the nitrogen atom of the azomethine system. Abstract Leaching of uranium from a technological sample (680 mg/Kg U) in SW Sinai of Um Bogma Formation is carried out using a mix of sodium carbonte/sodium bicarbonate in presence of an oxidant (MnO2 or H2O2).
