2011 Impact Factors of ChemPubSoc Europe Journals

Impact Factors have increased by almost 75 % for our ChemPubSoc Europe journals published in chemistry and related subjects. This is an excellent figure, and a further indicator that ChemPubSoc Europe is dedicated to offering high-quality content.

Other highlights:

  • All ChemPubSoc Europe journals in the multidisciplinary category, 100 %, are amongst the top 20 journals.
  • 38 % of our journals have an IF over 5.
  • All the ChemPubSoc Europe journals that are eligible for Impact Factors are now over 3.
  • An article published in ChemPubSoc Europe journals and their sister journals has been cited, on average, 7 times, (dividing the total cites by the total number of articles used in the 2011 Impact Factor calculation, that is, a true average impact factor of 7 for all these journals).

The increase of the Impact Factors is, amongst others, a result of the strict emphasis on scientific diligence that all of you insist on in your various dealings with the editorial office, either by submitting good manuscripts, by returning thorough referee reports, or by providing helpful guidance and suggestions.
