3rd Course: A biennial, permanent international school designed to provide advanced education to students, postdocs, researchers, and anyone seeking to expand their knowledge and expertise in mass spectrometry. In addition to the fundamentals, applications will be presented across various fields, including biosciences, food, environment, medicine, and omics sciences.
Numerous MS and tandem MS (MS/MS) approaches will be illustrated, including high-resolution MS, various MS/MS dissociation strategies (e.g., collision-, electron-, and photon-based methods such as CID, ExD, and UVPD, respectively), top-down sequencing, native MS of complexes, MS imaging, ion mobility, and many others. These topics, along with recent technological advancements in MS and related technologies, will be presented and critically discussed during the school, providing participants with a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of macromolecular MS and MS/MS applications.
