Angewandte Chemie 34/2022: Boosting Yields

Author: Angewandte Chemie

In this issue, Z. Lin et al. discuss metal–organic frameworks for ion conduction. How do they surpass liquid electrolytes? The Minireview deals with miniaturized chemical tags for optical imaging (M. Vendrell et al.).

In the original research section, M. Matsuda et al. describe a reversible insulator–metal transition by chemical doping and dedoping of a Mott insulator. X.-B. Lu et al. succeeded in the efficient and selective chemical recycling of CO2-based alicyclic polycarbonates via catalytic pyrolysis. M.-H. Xu et al. provide new mechanistic insights into the rhodium(I) carbene-promoted enantioselective C–H functionalization of simple unprotected indoles, pyrroles, and heteroanalogues (see picture). J. Soltwisch et al. demonstrate single-photon-induced post-ionization to boost ion yields in MALDI mass spectrometry imaging.
