Angewandte Chemie 22/2023: Combinations

Author: Angewandte Chemie International Edition

In this issue, Robert Landsiedel et al. discuss the grouping of chemicals to assess risks to human health, and Angela Casini et al. review gold complexes in anticancer therapy. The Minireviews deal with graphdiyne for solar photocatalysis (Li-Zhu Wu et al.) as well as dual-atomic-site catalysts for molecular oxygen activation in heterogeneous thermo-/electrocatalysis (Xiao Liu et al.).

In the original research section, Lele Li et al. present a remotely controlled nanosystem for spatiotemporally specific gene regulation and combinatorial tumor therapy (see picture). Yadong Li et al. describe how dual-atom support boosts nickel-catalyzed urea electrooxidation. Moritz F. Kühnel et al. augmented the performance of hydrogenase for aerobic photocatalytic hydrogen evolution via solvent tuning. Conggang Li et al. visualized proteins in human cells at near-physiological concentrations with sensitive 19F NMR chemical tags.
