In this issue, D. Zhao et al. review a variety of syntheses of mesoporous crystalline TiO2 materials by monomicelle assembly. The Minireview deals with high-energy anodes for all-solid-state lithium batteries based on sulfide electrolytes (J. Cho et al.). In a Viewpoint Article, B. R. Kaafarani et al. discuss mentoring in times of crisis and beyond.

In the original research section, Y. Xu et al. present a general strategy for the kilogram-scale preparation of highly crystalline covalent triazine frameworks (see picture). M. K. Brown et al. describe photosensitized [2+2] cycloadditions of alkenylboronates and alkenes. X. Zhang et al. succeeded in the highly enantioselective synthesis of N-unprotected unnatural α-amino acid derivatives by ruthenium-catalyzed direct reductive amination. P. E. Barran et al. investigated the cold denaturation of proteins in the absence of a solvent and implications for storage.
