In this issue, J. Qiu et al. review Pickering emulsion catalysis. What are the mechanisms and applications? The Minireviews deal with enzyme reactivities unlocked by iminium catalysis (G. J. Poelarends et al.) and molecular motion and nonradiative decay in photothermal and photoacoustic systems (B. Z. Tang et al.).

In the original research section, Z. He et al. describe strong circularly polarized room-temperature phosphorescence from a feasibly separable scaffold of molecules with locked axial chirality (see picture). N. Cramer et al. succeeded in 1,3,2-diazaphospholene-catalyzed reductive cyclizations of organohalides. T. P. Dick et al. explored how commonly used alkylating agents limit persulfide detection. Y. Hoshino et al. developed polymer nanoparticles with uniform monomer sequences for sequence-specific peptide recognition.
