In this issue, H. Li et al. review self-assembly in water with N-substituted imines. What progress was made recently with respect to the design, synthesis, and characterization in water of complex molecules with well‐defined three‐dimensional architectures? The Minireviews deal with organic electrodes in aqueous electrolytes (Y. Wang et al.) and the oxygen reduction activity of Pt-based electrocatalysts (J. Lu et al.). In an Essay, M. J. Bojdys et al. point out the value of diversity for scientific excellence and beyond. S. Cao and L. Piao share a Viewpoint on the evaluation of photocatalytic water splitting.

In the original research section, K. A. I. Zhang et al. present a size-controllable synthesis of covalent triazine framework nanoparticles. C. Sparr et al. succeeded in the selective folding of macrocyclic polyketides through cyclization cascades. I. C. Felli et al. monitored the interaction of α-synuclein with calcium ions through exclusively heteronuclear NMR experiments (see picture). P. Theato et al. describe an inverse vulcanization of styrylethyltrimethoxysilane-coated surfaces, particles, and crosslinked materials.
