Angewandte Chemie 11/2022: An Efficient Vaccine

Author: Angewandte Chemie International Edition

In this issue, R. Stephenson et al. review the development of a glycan-based vaccine for Streptococcus Pyogenes. How can the limitations of carbohydrate-based vaccines be overcome? The Minireviews deal with the heterogeneous electrocatalysts (Z. Tang et al.) and halogen bonding in perovskite solar cells (G. Cavallo et al.).

In the original research section, C. Boyer et al. describe a dual-wavelength approach for 3D printing and self-healing of thermosetting materials (see picture). S. Ma et al. synthesized a self-adjusting metal–organic framework for the efficient capture of trace xenon and krypton. Y. Tsuboi et al. controlled the fluorescence color in perylene-labeled polymer chains trapped by nanotextured silicon. X. Wang et al. succeeded in the deoxygenative cross-coupling of aromatic amides with polyfluoroarenes.
