Ullmann’s Encyclopedia of Industrial Chemistry
is the world’s largest and perhaps most renowned reference work in industrial chemistry.

The first edition of the Ullmann's Encyclopedia of Industrial Chemistry was published in German by Professor Fritz Ullmann in 1914. From this edition we gathered some examples of chemical technology in the 1910s.
More examples from 100 years ago can be found on the Ullmann’s Encyclopedia homepage.
