ChemPubSoc Europe is an organization of 16 European chemical societies that have joined forces to bring you, not just ChemViews, but also a high quality publishing program. The organization publishes eight journals and supports one more. In addition, the GDCh, a member society, publishes Angewandte Chemie.
ChemPubSoc Europe’s commitment to the best in publishing is confirmed by the latest Thomson Reuters ISI Impact Factors for both the international journals published by these societies and for the journals supported by them.
All the journals have been characterized by strong growth of submissions, indicating that they will remain competitive amongst the top journals in their categories.
The Impact Factor of Angewandte Chemie goes from strength to strength and is almost 25 % higher than only four years ago. The latest Impact Factor is 11.829, the highest value for a general chemistry journal that publishes original research, which once more confirms its position as the leading journal in the field.
As the fastest growing journal of the last decade, Chemistry – A European Journal now has the high impact factor of 5.382 and serves all corners of the chemistry community.
EurJIC now has its highest Impact Factor ever: 2.941. The sustained value of the chemistry published is indicated by the higher 5-year Impact Factor of 3.101 (cites counted over five years).
With strong growth in volume over the last five years, EurJOC’s Impact Factor has been continuously rising and is now 3.096.
ChemPhysChem’s very competitive impact factor of 3.453 is accompanied by an excellent immediacy index of 0.737, reflecting a high number of articles being cited the same year as they are published and boding well for the future development of the journal.
ChemBioChem is pleased to announce a hat-trick: Our Impact Factors have increased to almost 4 (Two-Year Impact Factor 3.824, Five-Year Impact Factor 3.910) and our Immediacy Index to 0.844.
ChemMedChem: With an impact factor of 3.232 ChemMedChem continues to cement its position as a high-impact journal in medicinal chemistry. With fast and stringent peer review (19 days to an initial decision; 40 % acceptance rate) and rapid publication times (70 days from submission to online publication), the Impact Factor will rise further to reflect the journal’s true standing in the field.
ChemSusChem received an impressive first Impact Factor of 4.767 confirming its status as a highly influential journal for sustainability-related research in chemistry, materials science, and more!
ChemCatChem is so new that there is no Impact factor yet. Nevertheless, ISI was so convinced of probable success of this first journal of its kind that they decided to forego their policy of waiting for the journal to prove that it could be published regularly every month and to monitor the citations from the first issue. One further indication of its huge success is the announcement by the ACS of a direct competitor starting in their program soon.
Chemistry – An Asian Journal is published by the Asian Chemical Editorial Society (ACES) with support from ChemPubSoc Europe and the GDCh. It has a new high Impact Factor of 4.373. This shows that it has firmly established itself as the top chemistry journal rooted in Asia.
