Neste and VTT have agreed on a strategic cooperation which will strengthen the joint use and development of research infrastructures in Finland. The cooperation focusses on bio and circular economy and cleaner fuel solutions.

Neste is building a vehicle testing facility in Kilpilahti, Porvoo, Finland. The research facility will allow to study the energy consumption of vehicles and to develop new solutions for emission reduction. VTT will invest in a research infrastructure for catalytic processes at its Bioruukki pilot center in Espoo, Finland. The cooperation allows Neste and VTT to use both research infrastructures in their future projects.
