The chemist we are looking for this time was a pioneering educator and advocate for women in science, known for influential teaching methods and a deep commitment to chemical education. They authored books that helped shape the way chemistry is taught.

Anecdotally, our chemist is also known for baking the first “Periodic Table of Cupcakes,” with each cupcake topped with an element’s name, symbol, and atomic weight, and decorated according to its valency.
