A new open-air exhibition, “Maria Skłodowska-Curie in Italy: Three Journeys, One Passion”, opens on 4 July 2025 at Krakowskie Przedmieście 66 in Warsaw, Poland. It explores Marie Curie’s three visits to Italy—in 1911, 1918, and 1931—highlighting her scientific collaborations, personal life, and enduring commitment to international science.
Based on recent archival research from Italy and France, the exhibition features never-before-seen documents and photos that reveal a lesser-known chapter of the Nobel laureate’s life. On display until 17 August, the exhibition will later travel to Genoa, Pisa, and Rome in Italy.
