The event brings together all disciplines of chemistry, a diverse audience of chemists from both academia and industry, and from all around the globe. Apart from plenary and keynote lectures, the congress will include parallel sessions with oral presentations, working group meetings and poster presentations by junior and senior researchers.
The theme of IUPAC 2025, “Chemistry for Sustainable Future”, underscores our commitment to exploring chemistry’s pivotal role in addressing global sustainability challenges. In addition to the scientific sessions on various disciplines in chemistry, IUPAC 2025 also includes a special cluster of symposia on “Chemistry and Sustainable Development.
Awards
The prestigious IUPAC-Soong Prize for Sustainable Chemistry and 2025 Chemistry Europe Awards will be presented during the Opening Ceremony. The awardees (Omar Yaghi and Stefan Grimme) will deliver talks at the conference.
