In addition to the scientific sessions on various disciplines in chemistry, IUPAC 2025 also includes a special cluster of symposia on “Chemistry and Sustainable Development.

The prestigious IUPAC-Soong Prize for Sustainable Chemistry and 2025 Chemistry Europe Awards will be presented during the Opening Ceremony, and the awardees (Omar Yaghi and Stefan Grimme) will deliver talks at the conference.
