Angewandte Chemie 21/2022: Capabilities

Author: Angewandte Chemie International Edition

In this issue, S. Q. Yao et al. review chemical biology tools for protein lysine acylation. What ligands are capable of targeting regulators of lysine acylation? In a Minireview, F. Emmerling et al. discuss time-resolved in situ monitoring of mechanochemical reactions.

In the original research section, C. He et al. present the enantioselective intermolecular C–H silylation of heteroarenes for the synthesis of acylic Si-stereogenic silanes (see picture). J. N. H. Reek et al. present aqueous biphasic dye-sensitized photosynthesis cells for TEMPO-based oxidation of glycerol. J. Lloret-Fillol et al. succeeded in the photoredox activation of inert alkyl chlorides for reductive cross-coupling with aromatic alkenes. C.-Y. Xu et al. describe bifunctional WC-supported RuO2 nanoparticles for robust water splitting in acidic media.
