In this issue, Peter Strasser et al. review electrochemical CO2 activation and valorization on metallic copper and carbon-embedded N-coordinated single-metal MNC catalysts. The Minireviews deal with protein-integrated hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks (Ming Wang et al.), metagenomics in biocatalysis (Nicholas J. Turner et al.), as well as the dearomative partial reduction of benzenoid arenes (De-Hai Liu, Jiajia Ma).

In the original research section, Dominik Konkolewicz et al. show how to engineer network polymer properties through polymer backbone dispersity and structure. Qiang Xu et al. succeeded in the crystal engineering of MOF-derived bimetallic oxide solid solutions anchored with Au nanoparticles for photocatalytic CO2 reduction (see picture). Corey R. J. Stephenson et al. attenuated N-oxyl decomposition to improve hydrogen atom transfer catalysts. Malgorzata Baranska et al. describe how induced chirality in canthaxanthin aggregates reveals multiple levels of supramolecular organization.
