Angewandte Chemie 24/2022: The Active Type

Author: Angewandte Chemie International Edition

In this issue, M. B. J. Roeffaers et al. review heterojunction photocatalysts based on metal halide perovskites. How can the active type be identified? The Minireview deals with signal transduction strategies for analyte detection by means of DNA-based nanostructures (D. Samanta et al.).

In the original research section, F. Li et al. describe an aqueous CO2 reduction on Si photocathodes functionalized by cobalt molecular catalysts and carbon nanotubes (see picture). F. P. Gabbaï et al. identified a metal→carbon dative bond. T.-G. Ong et al. report a bis-(carbone) pincer ligand and its coordinative behavior toward multi-metallic configurations. D. Hoffmeister et al. found that mushroom polyketide synthases produce the universal anthraquinone precursor.
