Angewandte Chemie 51/2022: Information Standards

Author: Angewandte Chemie International Edition

In this issue, H. Peng et al. review light-assisted metal–air batteries. What are current challenges and perspectives? The Minireviews deal with structure engineering toward gold nanocluster catalysis (Q.-M Wang. et al.), temperature- and pH-responsive polymeric photocatalysts for enhanced control and recovery (C. T. J. Ferguson et al.), as well as hydrogen production coupled with electrochemical oxidation of small molecules (L. Jiao et al.). In their Viewpoint Article, O. Koepler et al. call for minimum information standards and better research data management practices in chemistry.

In the original research section, Z. Jončev and C. Sparr present atroposelective arene-forming alkene metathesis. J.-S. Lee et al. synthesized alternating polyisocyanate copolymers by anionic polymerization for mimicking amphiphilic helical peptides (see picture). T. Zhang et al. improved understanding of aerobic nitrogen photooxidation on titania through in situ time-resolved spectroscopy, and H. N. Alshareef et al. developed a sustainable ammonium ion battery by electrolyte engineering.
