Hybrid matchmaking event to pair large chemical companies with start-ups to develop innovative solutions for the European Green Deal
During the event over 30 EIC-funded startups will pitch on: health, safety and environment; circular economy; reducing and reusing CO2; digital transformation in the chemical industry; and enabling green manufacturing sites, to 13 of the largest chemical companies and associations.
EIC supports top-class innovators, entrepreneurs, small companies, and scientists to scale up internationally. Support under the EIC goes far beyond a grant provision.
The pitches will be preceded by a public session on June 22, during which policymakers, academics, industry, and start-ups will engage in interactive discussions around Future Chemistry, and whether it is synonymous to the EU Green Deal, how the EIC acts as powerhouse, and how the chemical industry can help pave the way. This is followed by more than 200 matchmaking meetings.
