In this issue, V. Prabhakaran et al. review the deposition of polyatomic ions by soft landing. What are the advantages of this mass-spectrometric approach? The Highlight deals with catalytic enantioselective four-component Ugi reactions (S. Shaabani, A. Dömling).

In the Communications section, P. Schwille et al. show how to encapsulate proteins whose oscillating binding and disassociation cause dynamic membrane deformations (see picture). K. Morgenstern et al. obtained images of the solvation of a one-dimensional solid on the molecular scale. Y. Tang et al. developed a multi-ion strategy towards rechargeable sodium-ion full batteries with high working voltage and rate capability. T. Kubo et al. succeeded in the synthesis and characterization of a highly congested tri(9-anthryl)methyl radical, and T. R. Hoye et al. describe Cu(I)-mediated bromoalkynylation and hydroalkynylation reactions of unsymmetrical benzynes.
