Angewandte Chemie 20/2020: Versatility

Author: Angewandte Chemie International Edition

In this issue, V. L. Pecoraro et al. review catalysis and electron transfer in de novo designed helical scaffolds. How versatile are they? The Minireviews deal with triangulenes (J. Lu et al.) and genetically encoded activators of small molecules for imaging and drug delivery (P. Rivera-Fuentes et al.). N. Winssinger et al. praise the life and achievements of Kilian Muñiz in an Obituary.

In the original research section, M.-X. Wang et al. present hydrocarbon nanobelts (see picture). J. Laskin et al. introduce preparative mass spectrometry with a rotating-wall mass analyzer. B. L. Feringa et al. synthesized allenes by direct Pd-catalyzed organolithium cross-coupling, and Y. Na and C. Chen obtained catechol-functionalized polyolefins.
