In this issue, M. Fujita et al. review the crystalline sponge method for X-ray structure analysis. How can small molecules be analyzed without crystal growth? The Minireview deals with the synthesis of N-heterocycles via oxidant-free dehydrocyclization of alcohols by using heterogeneous catalysts (M. Beller et al.).

In the original research section, D. Peña et al. describe the on-surface synthesis and collective spin excitations of a triangulene-based nanostar (see picture). F. Jérôme et al. report the conversion of ammonia to hydrazine induced by high-frequency ultrasound. C. Chen et al. prepared a titanium nitride nanozyme for pH-responsive and irradiation-enhanced cascade-catalytic tumor therapy. M. Majumdar et al. succeeded in the stabilization of the elusive antimonyl(I) cation and its coordination complexes with transition metals.
