Angewandte Chemie 7/2022: Renewable Resources

Author: Angewandte Chemie International Edition

In this issue, R. Schlögl reviews chemical batteries with carbon dioxide and J. F. Hartwig et al. discuss transition-metal-catalyzed monofluoroalkylation strategies. The Minireview deals with hypervalent iodine-mediated late-stage peptide and protein functionalization (J. Waser et al.).

In the original research section, W. Yang et al. introduce 2D active nanobots based on soft nanoarchitectonics powered by an ultralow fuel concentration (see picture). H. Nakamura et al. developed an enantioselective synthesis of oxazaborolidines by palladium-catalyzed N-H/B-H double activation of 1,2-azaborines. Q. Zhang et al. describe surface gelation on disulfide electrocatalysts in lithium–sulfur batteries. C. M. Thomas et al. present a highly efficient synthesis of poly(silylether)s that provide access to degradable polymers from renewable resources.
