The Impact Factor of Angewandte Chemie has risen to 13.734! Among multidisciplinary chemistry journals, Angewandte Chemie is clearly in the lead if one considers, in addition to the Impact Factor, the number of articles published, the total cites, and the unique mix of articles. Angewandte Chemie is a journal of the German Chemical Society published by Wiley-VCH.

Acta Crystallographica D
– increased from 12.619 to 14.103 – maintaining its 1st rank in Crystallography, as well as becoming #1 in Biophysics. The journal is distributed on behalf of the International Union of Crystallography.

Advanced Energy Materials received its first Impact Factor, leaping to 10.043 from a standing start and emphasizing the Advanced journals family’s traction with the scientific community. This first Impact Factor confirms that Advanced Energy Materials has joined Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials and Small as a top quality journal.

The Impact Factor of ChemSusChem increased to 7.475, demonstrating how energy and sustainability have gained prominence in chemistry and materials science. The journal, published by Wiley-VCH in collaboration with ChemPubSoc Europe, is firmly established among the top journals in multidisciplinary chemistry.

WIREs Computational Molecular Science receives an impressive first Impact Factor of 5.738 and ranks #1 in the category of Mathematical & Computational Biology.

European Journal of Inorganic Chemistry increased its impact factor to 3.120, despite the decreasing trend in the Impact Factors for inorganic chemistry journals, and was the only society inorganic chemistry specialist journal to do so.

European Journal of Organic Chemistry’s impact factor maintains a stable position at 3.344, even though the median Impact Factor of organic chemistry journals dropped from 2.341 to 2.038. Appropriately, EurJOC also went up from rank 14 to 13 in the list of 55 organic chemistry journals.

NMR in Biomedicine, an online only journal, is now ranked 5th within Spectroscopy, rising to 3.446.

Greenhouse Gases: Science and Technology, the Wiley/SCI partnership publication launched Spring 2011, has received its first Impact Factor – 2.679.

Environmental Toxicology has again increased its impact factor to 2.708 and continues to rank in the top 10 of its category (Water Resources).

As one of the top cited journals in Medicinal chemistry, with nearly 18,000 citations, Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences has increased its impact factor to 3.310. It is published on behalf of the American Pharmacists Association.

The Israel Journal of Chemistry nearly doubled its impact factor again to 3.025. It is an international publication forum and official journal of the Israel Chemical Society, publishing Special Issues on timely research topics in all fields of chemistry.
