Applicants should be self-motivated, innovative and have the desire to contribute to the development of our journals in the field of Chemical Engineering comprising Chemie Ingenieur Technik, Chemical Engineering & Technology, and ChemBioEng Reviews – an exciting new review journal that will cover all facets of chemical engineering and biotechnology. You will be closely cooperating with the editorial team and be involved in all aspects of the editorial procedures, such as identifiying interesting topics and developping journal content, inviting authors, organizing translations, overseeing the reviewing process, editing and proof reading of manuscripts, coordination of freelance work, and contacts with authors.

Excellent organizational and communication skills, diplomacy, and flexibility are needed.

You have preferably a background in chemical engineering or a broad education in chemistry. You should be fluent in English and have a decent command of the German language. Furthermore, you should be familiar with text and graphics PC programs. The editorial office is based at WILEY-VCH in Weinheim, a pleasant small town near Heidelberg in southwest Germany.
