Air Products has appointed Frank Schnitzeler as business development manager for their Hydrogen and Bio Energy business in the Netherlands and Germany. He is responsible for developing and participating in major projects using mobile hydrogen applications, which generally involve vehicles such as cars and buses.
Schnitzeler, a trained physicist and an active Board member for Clean Energy Partnership and H2 Mobility initiatives, was Hydrogen Business Development Manager – Europe for Shell since 2005. He was responsible for the development of pilot projects for hydrogen applications in the automotive and transportation sector.
Air Products has placed around 130 hydrogen fuelling stations around the world, including those used in fuelling hydrogen buses for Transport for London and black taxis.
