Author: ChemistryViews

In this issue, R. J. Payne et al. review the chemical synthesis and semisynthesis of lipidated proteins. The Minireviews deal with green carbon science (resource processing, utilization, and recycling; B. Han et al.), and covalent organic framework based functional materials as catalysts in CO2 utilization (Y.-Q. Lan).

In the original research section, B. Weber et al. describe self-assembled fluorescent block copolymer micelles with responsive emission (see picture). Y. Fu et al. succeeded in the proton-promoted nickel-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation of aliphatic ketoacids. C. Barner-Kowollik et al. observed wavelength-orthogonal stiffening of hydrogel networks with visible light. S. Harder et al. obtained access to a labile monomeric magnesium radical by ball-milling.
