Evamarie Hey-Hawkins, Professor at the University of Leipzig, Germany, has received the Karl Ziegler Award from the GDCh. It is one of the highest German honors in chemistry for inorganic chemist. We met her at the GDCh office in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, for this interview and talked about her research and enthusiasm for chemistry, international cooperations, and what to do with unlimited funds.
